Our commitment
RSVPPlus is used by government departments to invite members of the public to official events. An invitation that cannot be read or answered is an invitation that was never issued. We target conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, which is also the technical standard referenced by EN 301 549 and Section 508.
Conformance status
Partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means most of the platform meets the standard and the exceptions are known, listed below, and have an accessible alternative. The guest-facing surfaces — invitation, RSVP, registration and the public event page — are the parts we hold to full conformance, because those are the pages a member of the public is required to use.
What is supported

Known exceptions
These are administrator-facing tools, not guest-facing pages. Each has an accessible alternative that carries the same information.
- 1.4.10 Reflow
- The seating canvas is a spatial editing surface and does not reflow to a single column at 320px. Every piece of information it holds — assignments, table capacities, guest placement — is available in the accessible seating list and in the Excel and PDF exports.
- 2.5.1 Pointer Gestures
- Drag-and-drop seat assignment has a keyboard and menu-driven equivalent, but the drag gesture itself is pointer-only.
- 1.4.4 Resize Text
- Some dashboard tables begin to scroll horizontally rather than reflow beyond 200% zoom.

Assessment method: self-evaluation against WCAG 2.1 AA, combined with keyboard-only and screen-reader testing of the guest-facing flows.
